My dislikes are minor, but in aggregate enough to warrant a 4-star rating. 1) You can't turn off the back light on the display (or at least, the very minimal instructions give me no indication how to do so and I found nothing on the balance allowing me to). This may seem minor, but it's not "always on". It turns itself off when you zero or tare the balance, then flashes back on whenever you weigh something. The back light actually makes it MORE difficult to read the display. For example, with your head directly over the balance, as it might be when you are measuring out something into a container on the balance, the back-lit display is unreadable because the back light reduces the contrast to almost nothing. You have to position your head about a foot in front of the balance to read the display. When the back light is off, the display contrast is low, but still readable. Unfortunately, the only time the back light is off is when the display is reading "0". 2) The feet are made of hard plastic, so they slip easily on a typical counter-top surface. The buttons are relatively hard to depress, enough that you have to hold the balance with your other hand to keep it from sliding backwards. I have an older MyWeigh balance on which the buttons are easier to depress and the balance was supplied with a rubber mat to place underneath the balance (it looks like a mouse pad). Amput may want to consider both options. 3) It is tedious to cycle between the different units of measure. I use grams most of the time, but occasionally pounds. There are about 15 units of measure (not even sure what many of them are) and you can only cycle in one direction, so to get from grams to pounds is several button pushes, then to get back to grams, a whole lot of button pushes to get to the end of the list and cycle back to the beginning. 4) The power supply, the kind that plugs into a standard wall outlet, has a stunningly bright red LED on it that shines at high intensity whenever the power supply is plugged in. It's so bright that I actually unplug it at night so that the cat is not distracted by it (cats do crazy things when they get distracted). This LED serves no purpose that I can come up with, other than to indicate that there is power coming to the outlet into which it is plugged (it is independent of the status of the balance). I urge Amput to remove this LED from their design.My overall opinion of this balance is still good. My old MyWeigh balance tops out at 5500 grams, and I needed about double that for preparing ceramic glazes. This balance has a max limit of 10,000 grams, so just what I need. I tested this when I first received it, and it actually reads slightly higher than 10,000 grams before giving you an error display. There are other balances with higher limits, but not that I could find with the 0.1 gram precision. I need that precision for measuring glaze colorants, which are typically a tiny part of the overall mixture.The accuracy of this balance is very good. I have a 500 gram calibration weight, and on this balance it weighs in at 500.1 grams, or +0.02% error. Contrast this to my old MyWeigh balance, on which the 500 gram calibration weight weighs in at 495.4 grams, or a -0.92% error.The weighing mechanism responds quickly; you will have a stable weight read-out in a few seconds.For a balance with its measuring range, it takes up little counter space. It is also low profile, so easy to work around when I'm not using it.It powers up quickly when you turn it on. The instructions recommend that you wait 15 minutes after turning it on for the electronics to stabilize, but I have tested this and, at least in my case, found it to be unnecessary. By the time it cycles through its initialization sequence and gives you a "0.0" display (with the back light, thankfully, off), it is ready to use.

Prodotto bello e ben costruito, unica pecca non bisogna avere mai bisogno di assistenza perché sono quelli della CGoldenwall sono del tutto assenti. La bilancia viene consegnata con un manuale di utilizzo in Inglese (e fin qui nulla di veramente grave), il fatto è che detto manuale è di 2 pagine che di fatto NON dicono nulla sulle numerose caratteristiche della bilancia che ho appreso solo attraverso visione di più video su YouTube caricati da altri fornitori anche se in cinese. Un vero peccato per un prodotto dal potenziale enorme. Il prodotto l'ho tenuto ma acquisto NON suggerito per quanto sopra.
